Clinical Supervision
“Therapists develop in the context of being supported”
“Supervision is the holding environment in which the practitioner is allowed to learn, doubt, and struggle.”
Dr. Thomas Skovholt
I am registered with the ACA College of Supervisors as a Clinical Supervisor and provide online clinical supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors, and students of psychotherapy and counselling.
I offer individual supervision sessions for therapists seeking a supportive and reflective space to grow in confidence, insight and ethical practice.
My approach to clinical supervision is informed by person-centred and trauma-informed principles. As such, I offer a collaborative and safe supervisory space within which I provide guidance and encouragement. While assisting with ethical, countertransference and other clinical matters, I foster an attitude of curiosity, encourage self-awareness and self-compassion with a view to increasing your competence and confidence as a practitioner.
The road to clinical competence is not a linear path, and at times you may struggle with self-doubt or even imposter syndrome. Part of my role as a supervisor is supporting you through these issues, sifting fact from fiction, identifying your strengths, and helping you to build upon them.
Sessions are 60 minutes in duration, and fees are available by contacting me here.
